AdvantEdge Production Module is process-analysis software that integrates CAD, CAM, machine dynamics, and workpiece material properties. Developed in conjunction with General Motors Research, Production Module is a must for anyone interested in cutting force analysis, reducing cycle time and maximizing machine performance. Production Module features complete CAD and G-code import for toolpath visualization and ease of workpiece set-up. Capabilities include cycle time and cut/non-cut time calculation, and instantaneous force and power prediction, resulting in optimized machine utilization. All ISO-standard tool geometries and tool-holder configurations are used in modeling turning, milling, and drilling processes; finished parts are easily exported for analysis of subsequent operations.
