Third Wave Systems to Unveil Distortion & Deflection Prediction Capabilities at EMO 2011
Minneapolis, MN USA
September 7, 2011
Third Wave Systems, a developer of machining simulation software, is excited to announce plans to unveil new distortion and deflection prediction technology at the 2011 EMO trade show. The technology will be an upgrade available with the company’s NC program optimization software, Production Module.
Third Wave Systems engineers have been developing this distortion and deflection modeling technology for more than five years. With its pending release – scheduled in connection with Production Module 6.0 – users from various industries will gain access to even more game-changing machining solutions that increase global competitiveness and enhance machining strategies. By minimizing tool deflection and part distortion, manufacturers will be able to improve the dimensional accuracy of machined components, leading to a reduction in secondary operations and scrapped parts.
A press conference announcing full details on Production Module’s distortion and deflection upgrade has been scheduled for Tuesday, September 20, at 3:00 pm in the Third Wave Systems EMO booth (Hall 25, Stand L11). EMO will take place September 19-24 in Hannover, Germany.
