Beta testers wanted! Production Module 5.7 will be available for beta testing in September, and TWS wants your feedback! Beta testing is open to any interested Production Module user; these organizations are given early access to new software. By summarizing your experience and suggestions, you help lay the foundation for new feature designs and functionality.
New features in the Production Module 5.7 beta include:
- Split Line Optimization (2D and 3D) -- split lines of code into smaller sections for more effective optimization and increased cycle time reduction.
- Subsequence Optimization (2D) -- optimize tool differently for roughing and finishing passes. In response to positive feedback on 3D feature introduced in last release.
- VERICUT Profile Tool Import (3D) -- allows for easier simulation setup with more complete import functionality.
- Graph Result Overlay (2D) -- allows for easier display and comparison of results for multiple toolpaths.
- Enhanced MetalMAX Import Capability (3D) -- allows for more cohesive and comprehensive incorporation of stability data generated from MetalMAX in XML format.
If your company would like to become involved in Production Module beta testing, please contact Luis Zamorano, Sales Engineer, at 1.952.832.5515 or sales@thirdwavesys.com. |
