AdvantEdge FEM 5.3 - a CAE software solution used by those looking to reduce tool design cycles, increase material removal rates, extend too life, and more - was released in February of 2009, packed with new features and enhancements.

TWS programmers now direct their attention to the development of AdvantEdge FEM 5.4. The new version is scheduled for the fall of 2009 (full details to come!) and beta testing will begin soon. Among the features to be tested for version 5.4 are:

  • Workpiece mesh control enhancements
  • Automatic chip detection and display
  • Chip mesh refinement

Beta Testers Wanted -- Beta testing is open to any interested AdvantEdge FEM user. These companies are given early access to new software features and by providing feedback, helping lay the foundation for new feature designs and functionality.
